Invest in Africa

Sunderland Football Club announced this week that  their new shirt sponsors are the not-for-profit organisation  Invest in Africa  which was founded by Tullow Oil.

The gates at the club were suitably adorned for the day of the announcement.

Appleby in Westmorland lies across the Pennines to the south-west of Northumberland.

Every June  it hosts the Appleby Horse Fair which has been held in Appleby since the 17th Century
