Brinkburn Priory
. . . . Brinkburn Priory was founded in 1135 for Augustinian monks . The monastery was dissolved in 1536 and much of it was demolished. The church was extensively restored in the nineteenth century. . .
I wish we had buildings like this in the US. But then it's a good reason to go to the UK and Europe! I love these old structures for their beauty and their history.
I must say the windows are lovely.
