Andy Carroll goes to Liverpool





















Both local and National news has  followed the story of the recent sale of Newcastle United's young talismanic striker to Liverpool for £35 million. The Newcastle Chairman, Mike Ashley, has few fans on Tyneside and Carroll  lost a few for agreeing to change clubs. One disgruntled fan has made his views known on the Metro bridge high above the Ouseburn valley.

The Cluny

The Cluny is a bar and music venue set in the the Ouseburn valley which once was a thriving industrial area containing lead works, potteries and a corn mill. The Cluny building once housed a bottling plant for a Scotch whisky called the Cluny.
